College Coursework

Midwestern Preparatory Baseball Academy’s training
methods put you ahead of the rest

Midwest Prep gives a choice. You will be immersed in 3 disciplines of education. Each area of education will include a series of lessons and comprehensive examinations before you come to our resident training in the suburbs of Chicago. Once you are enrolled, an instructor will contact you and advise you on your next step. The on-line lessons will be assigned to you. Each lesson is emailed back to the Academy where our expert instructors will grade the lesson, critique the content, and evaluate your performance.

Our proven study methods are designed to help you succeed and at no time should you feel you are studying alone. Should you have any difficulty or questions concerning lesson materials, you may contact the Academy and communicate with an instructor, who will answer your questions. Once you have successfully completed the internet portion of your program, you will come to the residency portion.

We will talk with you about your direction in the education process. If you need to enhance you ACT/SAT scores, we will advise you the direction for course work to increase your scores.

College course work will be strongly encouraged. Our advisors will discuss your college future by enrolling you part-time with 6-9 credit hours. Before you enter resident training, discussion will be provided to enroll you into college courses so you are “ahead of the game” when you enter college after Midwest Prep. We will suggest colleges that we work with to help your enrollment and achieve your part-time credit hours.

Also, in some cases you might need additional high school core courses. Our advisors will talk with you about the courses you need. This is rare, but we will “cover all bases” to make sure you are on a successful tract to qualify for NCAA academic eligibility.

While you are in resident training, classroom time will be scheduled during the day for instruction. Staff will be available for direction and guidance. Then at night you will have time to study for homework that is assigned during the enrolled classes.
